This is an original movie clan flag prop from The Last Samurai starring Tom Cruise. This is a Samurai Clan Flag used during the final battle scene between the Imperial Army and the Samurai. They are built the same and are not ripped or broken, it was professionally distressed for use in the battle scenes. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It is constructed from bamboo. When we ship the item the flag's bamboo poles are disassembled to allow for it to be shipped safely and economically. When you receive it we will insert instruction on how to reassemble. Basically the wire is just reinserted in the bamboo to lock the two pieces together and re-wrapped around the bamboo in the corner. Since this is a production used clan flag the condition has the normal wear and tear associated with its use in the production. The size is about 5 foot tall by 3 foot wide.
