This is Saddam Hussein SFX Bust from the 1993 comedy sequel Hot Shots! Part Deux. This special effects piece was made for the scenes where Saddam's face and eyes are blown up with a fire place air pump. The bust is made out of foam latex over a fiberglass shell and features a full head of hand punched hair and mustache, as well as a production distressed t-shirt. This item also features an insert eye mechanism with tubing that created the expanding eye effect when placed in the bust's eye cavities during filming. The foam latex is very fragile due to age and storage and the insert eye mechanism is missing some pieces, but the piece is still in overall fair condition. The bust measures approximately 17" x 9" x 22" (43cm x 23cm x 56cm) and the eye rig with tubing extends just over 84" (214cm) in length. This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
